When not tinkering on her PhD or working on the local crisis lines as a Clinical Supervisor, Mollie Mae loves to Pinterest, listen to vinyl records, write copiously, and share snacks with her dog named Bonnie. Being a trauma and abuse survivor, Mollie pursued formal training so she could be a contributor to the community care she saw was both missing and needed. Mollie Mae is passionate about cultivating safe spaces, radicalizing ideas of inclusion and accessibility, and changing the way we think about healing. Mollie Mae’s guiding measure is to be who she needed when she was younger. Her most recent deep dives include the 90s sitcom Frasier, the Anne of Green Gables books, and completing a certificate in Koine Greek for her PhD.
